Week 3 - Lake Edward - June 11, 2020

It was hard to catch a fish on Edward this year compared to years past. Even I got out-fished in my boat by net boy this year, and I certainly don't want that to become the norm. However, net boy did have the biggest fish of the night catching a 28 inch pike using my rod, reel, line and lure that I picked out for him, but he brought smoked salmon as a snack, so I didn't mind getting out-fished at all...with my stuff...this time. Fish just didn't want to cooperate very much at all, and not only were the individual point totals down, but as a league we only managed 140 points this year for 11 boats. Compare that with 185 last year, and 242 the year before, and that tells you right there how much worse we're getting as fisherman. We are getting older guys, and it won't be too long before y'all catch up with me. Who knows, by then maybe you will all have grown up enough to run your own league :-). Probably not.

So like I said the point totals were down, with four teams not even reaching double digits. Hell the top points for the night went to team Dickhead with only 25. Two years ago net boy and I scored 42 and we barely won! Dickhead pussies. After three weeks they sit atop the league, but by only five points over Mark & Luther, who have yet to garnish a nickname because they are nice guys. They also haven't won one of the first three events, so they've been very consistent.

Next up is Roosevelt on June 25th. That is the night before my 44th wedding anniversary, so everyone bring something nice I can give my wife. See you then!
